    Default Stone Forts

By the time of this mod, the forts along northern gaul were more or less permanent, essentially huge military installations. Those folks over at Ruina Romae have stone forts! I was wondering wether or not one of you could package them into a submod for all Invasio Barbarorum mods.
Also, is there a way to stop forts from disappearing after a turn vacant? That would help the stone forts appear more permanent.

    Thanks.

What have the Romans ever done for us?? apart from better sanitation and medicine and education and irrigation and public health and roads and a freshwater system and baths and public order... what have the Romans done for us?

I would prefer to allow the forts to fall into ruin if abandoned as that would encourage a permanent limitanei presence - also you could always rebuild them as Valentinian had to do!

Making stone forts permanent will make the campaign map a mess.Imagine everyone building these permanent forts everywhere of the map.So keeping a cheap unit in is not hard to keep them.Otherwise if you want to change its position it is good to have the chance to loose them with in two turns.

Good point. As SBH pointed out, I'd rather have a constant, steady presence on the limes -- if they was breached and the forts were abandoned... well the fool of an Augustus who allowed that would deserve to rebuild the forts!

    Game of the Fates
Mod of the week on hold -- I've played nearly every RTW mod out there.
BOYCOTT THE USE OF SMILEYS! (Okay, just once)
Antiochos VII...last true scion of the Seleucid dynasty...rest in peace, son of Hellas.
I've returned--please forgive my long absence.

Thanks ihatemonday! The reason I was wanting them non-degradable is that it's a lot less likely for a giant stone fortress to disappear of the face of the earth when left alone for three months.
However, now I think about it, it would be annoying to have all these unnocupied stone forts all over the place.
