What manga are your favorites?

The title says it all. Mine are:

What are yours?

I've read a lot of manga. But I'd say my favourite ones are these, sorted like so.

Ones I've read that are complete:
Death Note. I was enthralled throughout.
Gundam Wing: Episode Zero. Love the background it gives to the pilots.

Ones that I'm reading but have finished their run:
Inu Yasha. Love the show, so I decided to read the comic it's based on. I like it, but it's damn-near-egregiously long.

Ones I am reading that aren't finished:
Neon Genesis Evangelion. I like the depth and more detail it provides into the television series' story. It helps it all make sense.
Evangelion: Angelic Days. The much more optimistic outlook is a fresh departure from the abject horror and bleakness of the show.
Loveless. It's such a horrifically screwed-up setting despite being shonen-ai.

I don't read as much manga as I used 3 or 4 years back, but I finished reading GTO and BECK last month and thought they were great reads.

It is, and the manga version is the complete story which spreads to seven volumes.

After finish the manga, Nausicaa becomes my love forever.

Ugh, i have such an unexplained hate for anything japanese that the words manga and anime immediatly pop in my head as rubbish. I don't know where it comes from though. Back in the day i enjoyed pokémon and dragonball though.

Never read the Bleach manga, but I have to admit, as horrible as Naruto is in general, the manga is far, far better than the show. Not my favourite, by a long shot, but it's tolerable.

Battle Angel Alita: This is one of the least recognised masterpiece ever to glaze the manga scene imo. Whats good (or disastrous depending on your view) even James Cameron understood the awesomeness of it and is planning to direct a movie adaptation.

Berserk: Grown man , every picture in it practically a masterpiece, unrestrained medevial brutality, don't sacrifice brains for more balls, guts going one man army in a really cool way oh and more authentic armor then vanilla MTW II. If you read songs of ice and fire, i think all the things that happaned in this book coulda have Tywin Lannister praying feverantly at a sept pronto.

GTO: Cos it just downright hilarious, i think this thing should be made fundamental reading for teenagers with their hormone ###ked brains as the Great teacher shows them the way of life.

Vagabond and Doraemon cos thats a part of my childhod and open my mind to unrestrained imaginations

Anything that was done by Kazuo Koike, Ryoichi Ikegami, and Sho Fumimura/Buronson.
