The Rise Of a New Templar Empire.

The first crusade was called by Pope Urban II to help the Byzatine Empire fght back the Turks. But Ultamently their goal was Jerusalem. With numbers Reaching 100,000 men (Thought to be less).Over the next three years the Crusaders fought there way to the holy land and in 1099 captureing Jerusalem. Only about 10,000-15,000 men woman and Children made it through the journey. The KIngdom of Jerusalem lasted only about 88 years before united muslims under the Jihad of Saladin Recaptured the city and most of the lands. Now only with the castle of Tortosa The Knights Templar lay with the last foothold and the last chance for Christains to regan the holy city itself.

Grandmaster Hugues had little men and little land , but he knew as long as the Muslims where not united he could expand his kingdom and take back Gods city. He orderd he squire to ready the armie an to perpare for Vitory. This is The story of The Templar Knights.

I kinda got confused with the timeline of 1080? So I decided I would still put in the history of the first crusade.

The had marched for days still not knowing where they were exactly going. Only Hugues and Gottfried knew where they were going.

Gottfried- Father we Should have not left Tortosa undefended.
Hugues- Dont worry son we are trainging more, but i knew what he had to do.
Front line soldier- ITS JERUSALEM
At that moment the armie froze in aweh.
Amediatly Hugues spoke
"Men I have brought you here to retake Gods City, most wold belive this is unwise but trust me its what has to bedone, now set up camp and geting seige equipment ready.

A few weeks later

Men I dont have much to say, I just want you guys to fight and never stop unless I tell you, today we win back what is are's.

At the sight of this , Hugues orded the men to the ladders.
Gottfried was in utter disbelief on how his father had changed.
He has not spoken since before they left Tortosa.

The battle on the walls grew intensly.

It wasnt long before the battering ram broke down the gates and the battle for the cirty begun.

The defences had not lasted long before they where in the town square.

Gottfried saw his dad struck.
He quickly ran to him.
"FATHER", " Dont worry my son, It was ment to be. Just promise me you will lead are people to glory.
"But dad, you cant leave me, I still need to know more!"
Before he could say anythign Hugues died.
Gottfried Stormed into the lines and cut his way threw everyone.
Before long it was over

Jerusalem Is CHRTISTAIN. Send a letter to the pope!

The next day a diplomat came from eygpt, Gottfriend knew what he had to dofor the saftey of his people.

Nice start, might want to edit the pictures though, thats a must for the better AARs, like crop out the UI,

Nice start, when I played as the templars one of the units of pilgrims lasted from turn 1 to turn 200. Anyway, I think I'll follow this AAR

That's a nice start, but doesn't Stainless steel starts from the age of 1170 A.D. something ? And the first crusade was launched in 1099 A.D. right?

yes u guys it dose , but the templars werent created yet, they werent created until after the first. and sorry for no update i havnt been home at all , but hopefully tommorw i will be back.
