Cannot Install.

I bought M:TW 2 Gold edition.

Inserted the disk, clicked install. Menu goes away and then nothing happens.

Checked task manager and setup.exe hangs? What the hell.

How are you supposed to solve this?

What are your computer specs?
What operating system are you using?

A Q6600, 8800 GT, I don't think I need to mention the other specs and I do have plenty of space on my Hard Drive, I'm using windows 7.

Edit:

Ok so I found a way to solve this problem by exploring the disk and going into MTW2 file, clicking setup and it installed, then going into brittania, americas, crusades, teutonic, update2 and update3 files and activating setup.exe to each file.

I assume I have fully installed the game and the kingdoms expansion and all updates and are ready for mods?

Start one of the Kingdoms campaigns and in the top-right corner of the options screen is the version number. If it's 1.04 or 1.4, you have one more to go. If it says 1.05, you're good to go.
