Hello honoured nobles.

I hereby humbly asks to be considered a member Citizen, Civitate.

My contribution to this site is mainly debating, helping testing mods, feedback on such and as often as I can helping players with questions they might have when I see them. I have done some minor unit creation, for MTW2, but that is trivial. I feel I would be an asset to the community, and wish to serve.

As a person I am 40 years of age, I live in Trondheim (Norway) where I work at the Archives of the University-College and my name is Stefan.

Zowrath is already a valuable asset to my DarthMod Empire forum, giving always valuable feedback and helping others to understand aspects of my modifications. He is also a moderator for my forum.

First I like his paragraph. Looking over his stats I see he has become more active around TW game releases but then fades away. So does he plan to hang around? Will take a closer look at his post but have some reservations about his spans of inactivity.

He appears to be a friendly member who doesn't hesitate to help others in the DarthMod Empire forum. However, is that enough? As far as I can see, he hasn't modded nor is he a great debater and his contributions are limited to being a local moderator and giving feedback to a mod. His attitude is good but in the end I don't think he is there yet. In my opinion he should try to broaden his contributions, possibly by taking up modding or by intensifying his debating. However, I'll have to go with a no for now.

He is very similar to Rozanov from the Stainless Steel forum. Although Rozanov isn't a local moderator he has been around for a long time and does much of the same as the applicant. Roz is also a good beta tester and a wealth of knowledge on the ME time period. I don't think it is enough for citizenship but guys like these really make a forum what it is. While modders are off modding these guys are constantly helping newbs and testing / giving feed back and advice. Under our current standards for citizenship I don't think I can vote yes.

I just don't see enough. Being helpful is great but currently that doesn't qualify.

I'm not seeing the level of contribution i would normally like to see from a member here. I think it is nice that he takes his time to help other people and he is an amicable bloke, but he should consider getting involved with the mod itself.

This may seem to be a foolish question, but what has the applicant actually done? I see nothing in the thread starts, profile page, the application page startng this thread, or in CdeC member comments within this thread. Where do I look? Am I to simply read every post since 2006? Just asking!

I looked through some of the stuff that he's done, and I've got to agree with most of my fellow councillors. He has made contributions, but nothing major nor mounting to something yet worthy of citizenship. His attitude is great, but the actual content isn't enough.

EDIT: @VP: I think the application is based on a culmination of the all the help he's given in any respect through the time he has been here, including helping other members, mod testing etc., instead a major, significant thing.

This application is going to be a first for me. I am opposing simply because I have found near to nothing to support the application. He has been helpful. I have to agree with y2day's assessment of this applicant.

I have to agree with most of the sentiments already expressed. The feeling I get is that Darth wants to appreciate someone who has helped him out and so does him a solid by patronizing him. That's fine, I don't have any issues with proposals from a personal recognition standpoint, that's why we have the CdeC to vet them. In this particular case though the contributions outside of his personal utility to Darth and possibly others in the DarthMod forums, there isn't that much to show.
