Cavalry Grenadiers

So, Is it possible to make a cavalry grenadiers unit? Is there an animation somewhere in the game files I can use to make this happen? I would want them to actually be able to throw grenades from horseback.

there is no animation for throwing grenades from horseback. However, it is possible to make horse grenadiers like dragoons - dismount and then throw grenades. Otherwise there is CTD.

by the way, there is a "horse grenadier guards" unit in vanilla ETW but it is not used by the game, so you can just activate it.

There's a mod for it. Try using searching for "horse grenadier mod". Also, various other mods have them. My Danish mod, for example, has them as an elite part of the Life Guard dragoons.
