Default 4v4 Size Battle Maps for Campaign

Does anyone know how to force campaign battle maps to be 4v4 size?

I wasn't sure if this was a map editing or text editing question, hopefully someone can tell me

Great idea... might actually get some interesting terrain in, sounds like it might be slightly easier way to solve my non appearing rivers in Grand campaign than i'd imagined

My understanding is that battles that occur at bridges and fords use pre-generated maps, as do ambushes and certain other battle types, where as field battles are generated for the battle.

Ive played a bit more, for some reason my campaign got bugged AGAIN (i havnt even finished one yet because of the patches) and noticed taht the battlefield is sometimes a lot bigger than normal, almost like in the second manassas game size. Maybe theres a script stating the size of a battlefield for certain scenarios and someone could substitute their own numbers in. Sometimes the armies are a lot closer together too... so it might be possible to change how far away the sides start?
