replacing the armed citizens ?

Hello,

I need a way to replace the armed citizens(citizen militia who defend cities) for all europeans factions. Is it possible ? what i have to do to replace them ?

The best way is to simply change their screen name, model and texture. I think the way armed citizens are called up is hard coded, so you can't tell the game to call up another unit (as far as I know). So technically you still use the same unit, but you won't notice that when you play.
