    Default Beta testers

Thanks for being here and contributing. Without you the whole process of getting this mod ready to release would take a whole lot longer.

I'd like to make one plea: feedback.

Feedback is absolutely essential to us as the development team to know what issues / problems and so on you guys are coming across. Screenshots really help to illustrate things and specifics too for things like income and so on help a lot.

It'd be good also to have some subjective feedback - good as well as bad - what things do you like / dislike?

Thanks to those of you who are already doing this.

Howeis screenshot mkaer program works on win 98 so I will be able to make many screenshots.

Altough today I want to start a campaign. Is there anyone who needs help on a faction.I would try another faction, than when it comes the next big, no-save compatible update I will get back to Scythia. Is it alright? But if you want me to stay with scythia now, than thats not a problem.

And thanks for the new stats update.

    Thanks Caius.

@Torz...it's up to you....it'd be good to get feedback sooner rather than later on the strengths and compositions of enemy armies people are up against wherever the faction is.

Also I still haven't got much of a handle on how challenging people are finding their campaigns, particularly on H/H.

I just started a Carthage campaign on H/H and I will try to post regulary but I got a lot of things going on in real life so I don't think that I'll be able to play as much as I would like. Nevertheless I I will try my best to find time and give you my thoughts on how challenging the H/H campaign is.

I still wouldn't mind the Ocean going back to the vanilla colour, but that's a minor thing.

Please don't think we aren't paying attention, either. I read ALL feedback every day, and make adjustments and\or corrections as I can or where I feel they need to be. I have already corrected probably hundreds of little issues based on what you guys post...so it's very important.

Well, one thing I found playing sa Rome and for a smaller period as Sparta, is that money is VERY easy to gather...I mean, I had barely moved my armies around and within 10 or so turns I was way over 100k! Don't know if that's intended though. Was playing on Hard campaign.

My only other niggle is with the campaign map...I don't know...something just doesn't feel right...the east of the map is bang on! Love it. But the west seems kinda dark and not fun to play in, for me. The 1.5 map just seemed so vibrant and full of life! I also would like to see an option of maybe using the old campaign stack banners shapes. Cuz the old ones had character! They were unique! These kinda seem like the ones on EB and Vanilla.

If I was too pick anything to change, atm it would be the army stack banner things. They made the campaign map look very nice. The rectangle shap of these ones I'm just not fussed on.

The battles are perfect, the textures (on high everything with the forced 16x AA) are beyond perfect, don't think CA could even do that good a job because they are PERFECT. Same goes for the new landscapes! The first battle I loaded up was the Hanibal battle and oh my god I was blown away, simply fantastic!

Please don't take my criticism of the campaign map in a way where I'm saying its not good, because from a detail perspective, it's fantastic. But to me the map needs more feeling aswel as detail.

yeah, but you should have been here for the previous version where money was an incredible issue, i think this time the reason for this huge amount of money is for large staks of armies to be made by you and the AI for a challenging and fun campaign

Well ideally it should be large amounts of stacks made by the AI that you have to fend off.
Ultimately now that we're looking to have the Rome campaign as a modfoldered submod of the main campaign (i.e. running with a different command line extension), we can do what we want in terms of file changes and so on to make it the challenge of all challenges.

The more feedback we get, the faster we can tweak things to get them right, so keep posting

Well it looks like the money thing will be sorted anyway

But I can see what Ibram is talking about and it's kinda what I meant too. Do you mean the ocean from 1.5 of vanilla rtw?

But the ocean to me could stay as it is...just the unit banners on the campaign for me lol.

The unit banners won't change either I'm afraid. Pacco put a lot of work into those. I love them as do most of the team.

Yeh, that's ok. It's just a preference thing I guess. Although, it wasn't the design of the banners or anything, just the shape. That's all

And I think I'm coming around to the new map too...been playing it all day and...well...I think I will like it!

I too sort of dislike the sea...enough that I replaced "sky_environment_summer" with my own version. It wasn't so much the color of the ocean (which I found to be nice), but the lack of clouds and resulting appearance of tiling that caused my disfavor.

I have to agree, I didn't find the new ocean texture welcoming either, when I saw it. Its just too dark, and too 'tiled' for me.

Maybe the problem is with me.
