    Default Dual Sword animations

    Is it possible to have animations that utilise both of a units swords (if the unit is a dual-weilding unit)? dale has dale man-at-arms and harad i think has some sort of unit and they are both dual weilding but they only use one of them.

    i dont kno how to do anything related to modding. i was just asking the devs of the mod if it could be done and if so maybe implemented in the next patch.

    They use the second one as a "shield" as they use the regular swordsman annimation. I'm pretty sure M2TW doesn't have any dual-wielder animation, so the only way owuld be creating one.

    It's possible if you know how to create new animations since, as has been mentioned, m2:tw has no dual-wield animations of its own. Think of the other sword as being used for "blocking"/parrying, I believe that's how DG conceptualized it anyway.

    hhmm, you'd think that as a dual-weilding unit they would be more offensively minded and thus use both of their swords offensively. this is what i would like to see anyway.

    Actually it would, because the unit would need annimations for everything (running, idleing, fighting, blocking, dying blah blah..) though probably many of those could be copied from other units. But there are other things more important than making an annimation that is going to be used by what - 2 units?

    ok, i didnt want to open up a new thread to ask another question so ill just ask it here. how do u request assistance? like in a battle. cuz a couple times ive had allies request my assistance for a battle and i was wondering if i could ask it from them too.

    I think they come into battle automatically if they are at war with the person you are going to fight and they are close enough to them.

    yeah i kno that. but i wasnt even close when they called for my assistance. it went like this... i ended my turn and when the high elves turn came around i got this pop-up that asked me if i wanted to join the battle. i was wondering if i could do that same thing. it would be awsome.

    Well, you can send a diplomat to them to ask for help against other factions but that's not so "spur-of-the-moment".

    this was spur of the moment. hmmm, ill have to play around a little. it would really be helpful to ask for that full dwarven stack when my dale army goes up against OOTMM.
