Please help with this problem

ok, i've tried downloading MTW2 twice and both times it says it "cannot setup .NET!" ive had this game a long time and havent been able to play it once.. someone please help me.. im using a vista home premium.. please help me

Medieval2 requires .Net 2.0 or higher. Vista is 3.0+. What other programs do you have installed on your computer besides Vista?

its my moms work computer so it has tax type stuff. thats pretty much all that i know of. we have norton security stuff

Since it's her computer and Vista, do you have administrative rights to install programs on her computer? Vista is very picky. If has not given you those rights in your user account, it's not going to happen.
