LAN help

Hi guys,
I installed Platinum a few days ago and I've been having a blast playing with the Greeks.

I installed Platinum exactly the same way on my borther's computer, but I can't join his games because they appear to pbe incompatible.
Can you help me?

- Added the creation of a desktop short-cut named as "Multi-player Battle Reset". Using this short-cut activates the "campaign_map_reset.bet" batch file, which will delete the "map.rwm" file from your RTR Platinum install. This will allow an online or LAN multi-player battle to be fought. You will need to use this short-cut to reset your RTR Platinum install every time before starting to create a new multi-player battle.

That was part of the release info of the latest platinum version, not sure if it works but it's worth a try..

O so that's what it's for
But does this actually reset my campaign? Because that would be bad...

Normally it should not affect your campaign. What that batch file does is delete the file named map.rwm. But this file is created again each time you start the game if it has previously been deleted and in fact deleting it is sometimes recommended as a solution for campaign glitches/ctds.
