    Default Noob question: How to put a picture on a post

    Hello. Ok, sorry if I'm acting like a noob but... How do you put a picture or screenshot on a post. I'm new to the forums and don't really know how to do anything. Thanks.

    The easiest way is to get some software to 'host' the image. The more popular ones are photobucket (www.photobucket.com) and imageshack (www.imaheshack.us). Both are free. Photobucket requires a valid email address and the size of the images are limited to the equivalent of a 17" screen - this is usually enough for forums.

    You copy the 'img' code from the web page and paste it onto your post. It's easy.

    The following is an older version of photobucket (the 'img' code is the third one for each picture):
