Hi. Could someone tell me if it is possible to give a unit pistols as a primary firearm? For example, i want to give the bashi bazouks pistols. Also, is it possible to give cavalry like a regiment of horse pistols? For example, i think it would be cool to outfit cavalry with pistols, so they can fire a volley and then charge in with their sabres. If someone could link me to a tutorial on how to, or explain it here, that would be great. Thanks.

Yes for both. Here's the easiest way: change the animations in unit_stats_land to "personality_officer" (no quotation marks). Change the equipment themes to "euro_officer" or "x_india_sword_pistol" (no quotes).

Then give them accuracy and ammo stats and add the pistol as the projectile (this should all be clearly marked).
