    Icon2 Trigonometry

Okay I know this is maths, but maths are closely related to science after all >_>

Anyways, could you help me with Trigonometry? xD

I don't grasp sinus and co sinus at all

okay I have that Triangle ^

I'm looking for the red things there.
The angle with the red dot is 90°
α is 62° γ is unknown I have to find that one out too

I need the height, h, and half of the side c

    Help me please DX

    First...it's sine and cosine...

And are you given teh length of any of the sides?

Let's think the unthinkable, let's do the undoable. Let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all.

Gamma (aka γ) is easy as the sum of all interior angles in a triangle equals 180 deg so...

    Gamma = 180-62-62 = 56 Degrees

To determine the lengths you need to know a or b or c.

Thats assuming its an isosceles triangle. Is that the case?

    You're assuming it's isosceles. I don't think it is.

You need one of the lengths to get actual figures on the other lengths.

Like everyone is saying, you need to give more info. You've only provided one angle, and there are zillions of triangles that have that angle. γ could be anything between 0° and 118° (exclusive), for instance, and h could be any positive number at all. To determine what you want to know, you need to provide either the third angle and the length of one of the sides, or the lengths b and c.

Or maybe you're only looking for the ratios of the sides? Then you just need to give the third angle and it's solvable.

Omg sorry that I forgot the other information!!

    I already have the solutions, γ = 56°

    b was 58,6cm, h = 51,74cm, c = 78,17cm

wasn't as hard as I thought xD

    Sorry for the inconvenience!
