    Default preferences recommendations

    before i start a campaign have you guys got any recommendations for further tweaks in preferences etc. beyong what Lt recommends in his installation word doc?

    also, do you guys recommend to play with fog of war on or off?

    All depends on your PC's specs. I have a very low-end PC right now, so I turn all on low, except unit-detail on medium and desynchronized-animations on to avoid the "pointy legs" and ugly edges on units.

    Oh yeah, if you mean with "fog of war" the campaign-map dark spots, Id say you should turn it on. It adds to a much more suspenseful game-play, but surely it does help to make your campaign a bit easier, especially at planning ahead.

    I wouldn't do it though, kinda takes an edge off, use your spies.

    Not that much fancy about graphics. But I recently had some lag with a 4 legion battle which equals about 12k troops, tho im playing on somehow high details and surrounding details as well. But once some die, its easy to control.
