Well me and a girl were having a discussion about :wub: (weird I know) she is very religious and was talking about how often she :wub:s.
Now I asked her "Well isn't that supposed to be a sin?" and she replied "not at all you see, that only applies to guys because its a waste of their seed." this seemed like a good point to me. What do you guys think? is female :wub: forbidden by the bible?

You need to be married to have that. Pleasuring yourself without being married is :wub: (If you do it by yourself) which is a sin. Having sexual intercourse while not being married is a sin. But oh well. In out religion it is.

The best part about being an atheist, or I suppose some of the more fun pagans, is that you get to get laid and not have self hate over sating a natural desire.

Undoubtedly excessive :wub: can have negative consequences in terms of ones life but there is a big difference between never and not to much.

While there is much about religious life I find either sad or amusing, I don't normally feel pity except when it comes to sexual issues. The internal suffering, the self loathing, the denial of ones true nature is really a tragedy. Maybe itself helpful for some who would be 'sex addicts' or pedophiles but for a majority, I pity them.

In Matthiew, Jesus is talking about lust from the perspective of adultery. So, you'd have to be married to commit "adultery in your heart". Also, the bible doesn't define the term "sexual immorality", so it could be anything. Who knows what Paul was talking about in Thessalonians and Corinthians. :wub: isn't condemned anywhere in the bible, only indirect references to lust and sexual immorality exist. Neither of which are directly associated with :wub: in the bible.

If she's Jewish she may be drawing her conclusion from the incident in Genesis 38 8-10 where Onan spilled his seed on the ground instead of getting his brothers widow pregnant and Yahweh kills him. I think that had more to do with the fact that he broke the traditional law than anything to do with "wasting seed" or male :wub:.

So, I really don't understand the Christian or Jewish hangups with :wub:.
