Problem: Game goes crazy by itself

Again, aatami has a problem:

When I battle, the following things happen all the time:

- The MedievalShell opens up
- The battle objectives scroll opens up.
- All sound is muted, I have to go to the settings and put them back on.
- The game speeds up to 6.

All of these always happen at the same time...

What causes these things, and how can this be fixed?

What are your computer specs and which operating system?

What programs do you have installed on your harddrive besides your operating system and Medieval2?

What version of the game are you playing?

The version of what I'm playing is the version that comes with the Gold edition, I have no idea what the number is.
Medieval II has been installed on a 1tb external hard drive.

I uploaded my DxDiag, since that is probably the best way to give info.

If you don't have a fast enough transfer rate for the external drive, what you describe can happen in a hurry. if it's on drive J, and being fat32, it will ruin your day. Best advice I can give is put it where the installer wants it and you don't have these problems.

That's all? Cant I do anything at all to make this work exept uninstall and not play, because I do not have enough room anywhere else.

What if I turn the graphics quality a bit lower?

Edit: Hey, does this have anything to do with me editing the descr_strat.txt to unlock all civs on this computer?

Edit2: Ahaahahahaha! I found the answer, I am using a microsoft wireless keyboard... I found the answer in the TECNICAL ERRORS FAQ's thread... I hope this works.
