    Default Denarii bug ?

Well, I gave all factions 1,2 billion denarii for more action and reduced unit build time to 1 turn for the elite units. But after 3-4 turns Numidia and Carthage are down to less than 400 million.. How on earth do they manage to spend that much ? And on what ? The only thing I noticed was that Numidia was a client kingdom of Carthage..

I dont know how they spent that much money in 1 turn.

Must have been a great party.

how did you give them money? if you use add_money, it's limited to 40,000 denarii each time

Do you really think I would use the add_money to reach 1.2 billion ? I just filled in a lot 9's in desc_strat, but I ended up with around 1,5 billion instead of 1.2. But that doesn't explain how two factions can get below 400million in a few turns..

Perhaps they started bribing enemy armies and towns?

Perhaps but I have no idea what they did. All I could find out that Numidia became the protectorate of Carthage and neither of them gained a lot of territory. And even if they bribed armies it would never cost that much But oh well..

yes it would! The cost of bribery is related to how much money the target faction has!

It could be the numidians and carthaginians bribed each others' generals

I've paid 121,000 for one unit, a 10 star general. Didn't matter much, as I'm at 500,000 denarii anyway.
