    Default What's your political philosophy?

I wasn't sure whther this should be here, the maine "Ethos" page, or in the Political Academy.

Its quite simple to do. I just want to see what kind of government people would form if they were in power, so, i'd like evryone to click the link and do the test, then post a screenie of what your results are.
It'd be really useful if you could do this.

    Age: 17
    Nationality: GB
    predicted result: libertarian capitalist

Pretty hilariously wrong, but that's understandable given the stupidity of the questions.

I've recently changed my stance. I'm going to call myself an empiricist from now on. So little that happens in terms of policy and politics relies on evidence. The drug war is a classic example.

You Libertarian Losers! Authoritarian all the way.

By that graph, I'm a leftist Authoritarian - similar to Stalin's ideas, perhaps. I would probably agree with this to some extent. Definitely Authoritarian, but as for Left or Right, I'm not too sure.

Why? Why would you possibly want to become little more than a slave?

Thanks for your responses, this is all going into an essay where i'm suggesting alternative ideologies based on what other people think. (i.e. their decisions)
ATM i can see we all are libetarians (except Doge... fascist ) but we're disagreeing on how economical we should be. This is going to influence the type of economy i wil suggest

I forgot to ask, and if its not too much trouble, could you put your age, nationality and the type of results you thought you would get. Just edit your posts please
    example, i got this

but i thought i'd get slightly more libertarian and more capitalist/right wing

I'm a social libertarian but I also recognize that the state needs to be present in many areas. I'm kinda Social-Democrat.

I don't want to take any test telling me. I have it all figuer out!

In a state of ragnarok/free society, I would be a right liberitarian. That is impossible, since there is non such state.
In a natural state, not affiliated/affected by anyone around me, I would be a blood hard authoritarian communist. That is impossible, since there is non such state.
In the reality, I'm a social democrat.
Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga
I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

Authoritarian left [slightly]. Though I took a similar test a few years ago and I am sure I answered similar questions differently, as I am sure my views have changed. I expected to be right up there with stalin
