Regarding WIP Map

Hey guys. I think I read somewhere that the map you will be using for the "full campaign" will be using the LotR:TW's map as the template. Or did I dream it? Anyway if this is true, will you still be using your half of the map and combining them? Cos *hum* I prefer playing with your bottom-half of Middle Earth to theirs...

The full map of FATW was made by the FATW Team years ago (completed in 2005) after literally hundreds of hours of research looking over maps by Tolkien, his son, and from the superb Atlas of Middle-earth by Fonstad before even a pixel was coded.

No part of its geography, region or settlement names or TGA files are taken from any other mod.

LOTR:TW, I believe, uses METW's map as a base though they may have tweaked it a lot since incorporating it.

The map concept and research was done by me - the TGA files, and basic map text files, by Tittils. I have tweaked it since then and, in 3.0, Aradan will no doubt tweak it a bit more
