In all honesty hobbes, I don't care what some random kid from HEAVEN thinks about me. Seeing as you were new to the forum I felt that you should know some of the hidden rules that we follow. Of course you refuse to listen to those with more expirience than you in such things so I think it is safe to say I shall no longer waste my time with you in that effort.

I hate to throw this thread even closer to being derailed, but I kinda think you guys are too strict on the "never bump" rule. Personally, I think bumping an old thread is fine, so long as you believe the discussion can be carried further. This means that you should also post relevant stuff. Admittedly, Hobbes didn't post things relevant to the topic, but you do realize Caesar, that your posts were just about as pointless as Hobbes'?

I also see there's no noob box picture here. Every decent thread of these types should have one, so allow me to assist.

This is more to the point. One of the funniest battles I've fought. This guy brought 6 units of berzerkers to a cwb battle and they all kept chasing after a single unit of numidian mercenaries the whole time. At one point he started chasing the numidians with his whole army. I had fun alright.

The "friendly fire by stabbing" seems very peculiar. Has anyone figured out which premises directly cause this? I've never had it happen to me, yet I've run cavalry through my pikes (usually leading the enemy cavalry on) and charged through pikes hundreds of times. I've seen others suffer by it though. I thought it might be due to pikes "stabbing" while running through to the front of a phalanx (essentially backstabbing cavalry), but nope--still can't replicate it. I know people have lost cavalry doing this with stationary "inactive" pikes too. Maybe it's something to due with upgrades? Curious...
