    Default Bribable Merchants - possible?

So, is it possible to make it so that merchants (and other agents like assassins) can be bribed by diplomats?

I know you can bribe other diplomats, but haven't seen other agents being bribed.

It may be so but I have never heard anything about it being possible... this is a good question and I hope somebody knows the answer.

You have to be able to open the diplomatic interface with an agent in order to bribe them. I'm not sure it functions for non-diplomat/non-general agents, but the easiest way to check is to try. If it doesn't work in Vanilla, it can't be modded, because all of the 'abilities' related to agents and the specific agent types are hardcoded.

Yeah. That you'd need a diplomacy window occured to me not long after typing this. Not worth it, I guess. (And not possible if the agent stuff is all hardcoded.)

Yeah, unfortunately everything about agents short of their looks, names, traits and ancillaries, and availability is hard-coded.
