Steam + 1.2 patch = poop

Some of the mods require 1.2 patch to play on MTW2. Whenever I try to install 1.2, it says that it cannot find MTW2, probably because I have it on steam. Anyone know how to solve this problem?

I bought the game from steam.... There has to be a way to update it to 1.2, unless it already is and I'm just failing at installing mods.

Start M2TW, go to options and there you can see what version it's on right now.

Ahh, thanks, didn't know that! Once it's done re-installing, I'll have to check. (Hopefully it's 1.2

Ok, so it says 1.03, which from what I've read, means 1.3, which means it's past 1.2, which means I should be able to play mods that require 1.2? Right?

IMO , that's better than downloading it from some site that the moment you enter it , 5 other windows open with some stupid advertising and virus stuff ..

I have programs both disc and download, and the way many companies use third party downloads and money changers, I prefer the disc if at all possible. Then I have control over the updates.
