Ibram reporting for duty

I've never BETA tested anything before, so I have a couple of things I want to confirm/ask, so that no one yells at me later for breaking the game, which may happen. I'm trying to read up on all the threads, but it's alot of information to take in at once, and I always prefer someone just laying out specifically what they want.

1/ All beta versions are installed on a clean copy of Rome: Total War, patched to 1.5. No BI or 1.6, and no Alexander?

2/ Am I here just to have a play around, or is there a specific faction/element/thing that you need help with?

3/ Is there anything technical related that I should read up on to help me understand what I'm doing?

4/ I've seen reference to an 'AI Campaign'. What is that, and how do i do it, if it needs doing...

5/ What are some classic pitfalls to look out for, and what doesn't need focusing on?

RS2 can be played with any one of the RTW games....RTW, BI, Alex.
Apple or Tone can tell you what factions need testing...I know on e that could use it is Armenia, and\or Pontus.

Don't worry about AI campaigns, that's a bit technical and not necessary.

Things to look for....

1. Graphical issues related to the UI...unit cards mainly. Present, and do they represent the unit they are supposed to. Report in UI thread
2. Grapical issues related to units and models on the battlefield...report in appropriate thread.
3. Misc errors that have no classification...there is a thread for that.
4. Campaign balance...overpowered factions, money issues, difficulty, etc.
5. Any CTD's need to b reported, and in as much detail as possible. Where, when, involving what factions and what units....involved named characters, city names, etc.
6. In general, feedback about your own impressions....likes, dislikes. Doesn't mean things will necessarily change, but we're open to suggestions.
7. Keep an eye on population issues, especially AI stripped towns\cities, or towns\cities that cause problems because they don't grow fast enough.
8. For the faction you play, report issues specific to that faction in the thread named for that faction. Provide a lot of screenshots with reports and\or questions or especially graphical issues.
