ok ok. I got the option to invest in my 4th Hanseatic league HQ- building. I read in the text that it gives '+Trade, global effect'.
Does this mean that it adds more and more to trade, or is it the same as with 1 Hanseatic league HQ- building?

Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

I would like to know answer to that question too, because I have the same situation with Mint Coin.
Description says: "increase in tradeable goods (global)" and "-20% public order due to law". I'm worried about that 20% law decrease.
So if I already got one Mint Coin should I built another?
Global effects affect every settlement, and yes, they stack.
When it comes to global effects in buildings You should look for line called faction_capability in export_descr_buildings.txt (EDB) file in DLV data folder
so for Hanseatic guild building it would be
building guild_hanseatic_guild
{
levels hanseatic_guild
{
hanseatic_guild requires factions { norway, denmark, hre, teutons, poland, lit, russia, } and event_counter governor_present 1
{
capability
{
}
faction_capability
{
trade_base_income_bonus bonus 4
}
material wooden
construction 1
cost 4000
settlement_min city
upgrades
{
}
}
}
plugins
{
}
}
and is same for other buildings with line faction_capability inside code relating to them in export_descr_buildings.txt files.
Destroying Hanseatic guild in let's say Prague; will lower trade bonus and income in Iraklion amd all other settlements in your democratic repub...I mean empire(Tested; I lost 20 000 + TOTAL for all 74 settlements Trade income when I destroyed Hanseatic guild in Prague). Faction_capability can affect a lot of other things too like heavy_cavalry_bonus bonus 1 and this gives bonus on experience for every heavy cavalry unit in your empire and you can stack them with tourney_fields bonuses that affect ONLY settlements in which they are built in ( notice that is says capability only INSTEAD OF faction_capability)
capability
{
happiness_bonus bonus 1
free_upkeep bonus 1
heavy_cavalry_bonus bonus 2
}.
At least this is how I think it works.

I didn't really get that^, but I destroyed one of my Hanseatic guilds, and then I lost lots of trade. LOTS of trade. Stockholm dumped from 7000, to 3500it's sad.

I played a danish game and had to destroy all my hanseatic guilds, they were ruining the game by giving me too much money for too little effort.
Interesting little guide there Grimblade, thanks
It prompted the idea that it might be nice to have recruit slots, free upkeep, retraining costs, etc. affected by the war draft...![]()
