Does it work?![]()

There is no disease I spit on more than treachery.
My desktop icon disappears depending on what wall paper is.
I think it has something to do with the file type that is being displayed, sometimes it overrides the RS icon, but it doesn't cause anything other than a minor cosmetic problem.

I've had that problem too... now it seems to work.![]()
Vale,
Yes, the Icon works; however, seeing the blank, where a picture suppose to be, is very annoying.
How can this be corrected? What you mean by "Wallpaper"?
Sandrus: Did you do anything to re-appear?
The image on the back of desktop.
Before I had a bunch of Roman soldiers in a WWII jeep for the image and the DT icon for RS was blank, now I have a nice picture of Hanuka from Rumbling Hearts and the RS icon shows up bright and HD.
Maybe try changing you wallpaper then?

I have that issue with the RS1.5 icon as well. Never has been completely right. You could always change it to something else.

I had that problem until I put my desktop colour quality setting to 32-bit, since then it has been fine. Hope it helps![]()

This is true, 32 bit color setting should insure that your icon will stay on the desktop

Why would anyone not be using 32-bit colour anyways? And yes, the icon requires 32-bit colour to work, as the alpha channel settings are different between 32-bit and 16-bit colour.

Well everything is at 32-bit. I have a high-end machine with everything on high.
The Desktop Icon is hardly visible and the oval ring does not have anything in it.
It may be only related to my machine, if you all got it. Any other suggestions?
