beautiful work!![]()
wow very beautiful
awesome job
also i like the new banners
Excellent work once again. However, I have a few comments to make:
1. Some of the trees look a bit wierd, with strange gaps in the middle and then a big round splotch at the top. No offense, but they don't look like real trees.
2. Punic War Chariots?
Spectacular preview!
Looks amazing. Excellent work as always. The grass hiding is cool.
Hi Tony,
Great preview !
@Caligula Caesar
Before the Carthaginians famously mastered and effectively utilised war elephants in their campaigns, chariots were the main weapon of "mass destruction" and moral crusher. They were used for many year before a battle with Syracuse, in which the Greeks had brought elephants from abroad. After this battle it is speculated that a Greek or Indian was brought in to teach the Carthaginians mastery of elephants, which at the time were very abundant in the lush forests of modern day Tunisia.
I cant recall that chariots were used after the fact, mostly because every civilization had used them at some point and most strategists had figured out how to counter them. It is much more difficult to counter elephants.

Chariots with four horses? Hell yeah!
It has been surmised, that perhaps, my lord had become like a wild animal that had been kept too long. Perhaps, but whatever... freedom... so long an unremembered dream, was his.
The children of Doom...Doom's children. They told my lord the way to the mountain of power. They told him to throw down his sword and return to the earth...HA!! time enough for the earth in the grave.
Looks really great!! Couldn't you get the pics bigger?![]()

Hehe - well I'm working on doing some more images at the moment so maybe we can flesh it out a bit.![]()
Ah cool... perhaps we get to see some more vegetation types than just this one...
Thanks tone! Much appreciated from one of the best moddelers ou there!
lol - tell me about it... Tony did all renders which took loads of time... Since he wanted them all to be at the very same height... The result is clearly visible I think...
But then we only needed to find a good background for the UI cards... and how they look when highlighted. And I can tell you, there probably have never before been so many discussions about this anywere else... So yu better like them!!![]()
