We ought really to show some sort of preview of another faction, or parts of the map, or something.

Any thoughts?

Maybe show the Boii and their initial map position?

How about if someone with a decent computer could do a mini AAR?

I can do the 3D renders for all Boian units, I don't think we have any.

I can make small tutorial for you how to use light and mental ray for renders. Its much better than scanline (default) ones.
Or I can create scene and you only need to merge units with that scene and render the pics.
If you want, of course.

Tutorial

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

1 create a plane
2 select the colour for it (the best option is to use gray (my opinion) - dark gray)
3 select render
4 scrol down and select Assign renderer
5 see pic
6 choose mental ray
7 select lights
11 select the top view and add the light like I show on the pic
12 select the fron view and move the light up
13 select environment
14 choose the colour (your choice - the best is to use similar colour as the plane one
16 if you don´t like your black shadows you can change it (select the omni and do steps 17 and 18).

Good idea. Wait perhaps a bit on the map thing though. I have made a TON of corrections on the map fixing all of the little blue 'triangles' along the coastline. I would've uploaded it by now but I am sorta limping along here because my Internet service is only working on my sons computer, my network is down, and the only way I can download or upload is by transferring everything with a USB drive. I have the jerks coming tomorrow to fix this mess, but we'll see.

Ok, I'll post them up now. I don't really want to tell anyone how they can get these. I'm sure when RS2 is released someone will peek at the trait files to see, but they'll get no help from me!
