Wait, US puppets? Oh, those elections the Iraqis had weren't electing their own officials? Or before that when they voted on their constitution? People just want to ignore real life events for bs, conspiracy, rumor and hearsay .

Elections =/= independence and democracy. Even Stalinist USSR had elections.

Just to make a point. There is always someone to complain about something. Everything is complained about.

I believe we're all in agreement that we want to get the out of Iraq as soon as possible.

you believe wrongly. I say we train the Iraqi military up to our standards and then get the out. If they cant do for themselves, we will have done all we did for naught.

true, i just hope that iraqi ( and Afghani) citizens want to... otherwise western forces in the middle east are sort of hooped... do we get out and risk further violence in the area or stay and risk more of our troops' lives?

risking their lives is what they are paid to do. If they were not willing, they would not have enlisted.

They are paid to risk their lives in the defense of their country. They are not paid to wreck to lives of others on a "policing" mission. If they wanted to play world police, they should have enlisted in INTERPOL

    Captain Jin, if I may.

The United States is Evil, and following some logic, we can assume anything they do is evil as well. These elections...pah...just evil cover ups to put their puppets in power.

You're absolutely right, I'm just trying to cover up our evil ways.

Don't worry Captain, it's natural for a pawn of the Evil Empire to do so, I myself do it often. Praise be to the mighty dollar!

And let us give thanks to our Corporate overlords for providing us the ample opportunity to export our evil ways in every way shape and form. From coke all the way to big bad bombs we drop on hospitals, churches, mosques, schools, nunneries, mentally handicap schools, and any other taboo target I can't think of.
Edit- Orphanages too! Can't believe I forgot that one.

It is an hour long, the cats are cute but the speaker lost my interest 20 minutes in. I wonder if anyone else went that far?

Well if you could give me a more approximate timing of what part you are talking about then maybe, but I don't want to sit through the entire thing. It's like somebody else said, there's always going to be someone who doesn't like what's happening. Hell, there are plenty of Americans that think we should just cut and run too, that doesn't mean we should.
