I built and used to run a website for a local backyard wrestling group. They disbanded and the site has since been taken offline.

I'm currently building a site for a newsletter I write.

I think the closest you can get is your site.their domain.com and not have to pay anything. But I've found that the free hosts aren't overly generous with storage capacity and features.

I've been trying to build my website but every time when I'm done, I am allways dissatisfied with my work. I heard some people can make a site for you. If anyone knows someone or a website that has something to do with that, please tell me.

http://horsearcher.net. I had the choice of my own to name it either .com or .net also. They just do a check if the name is taken or not. Mine wasnt. (horsearcher)

this web space provider is cheap, but if you aren't experienced of building your own website from scratch, then you should look elswhere. http://www.winsave.com/

You can get your own domain for less than 10 bucks a year. The main cost comes with the hosting of the site (storage and bandwidth). There are literally hundreds of options out there to choose from so just google up a few searches for what your looking for. Or go to templatemonster.com where you can view/purchase pre built websites ranging from just basic sites on up to fully flash animated sites. I personally am in the process of designing my own via frontpage (dreamweaver is another decent web design software). I started using frontpage to design eBay listings and have now moved on to basic web design. My most recent project (a couples of days in the making) is: www.captivatingcollectibles.com

I'm just going to do the free ones for now...until I am satisfied with one of my sites. Which I'm not, I'm really bad at making websites...I can never make it look good, look like other fourm sites, and many other things. But so far everyone who posted their sites looks great! Nice work.

No, but really their is only 2 pages to see. My orginal one got deleted by Yahoo because I didn't use it for a while. If I still had the orginal I would post it. Thanks russian for insistanting. Sorry its just not ready. When it is I will post it.

I tok down the majority of the women, and will unfortunately be taking down good 'ol Jessica Alba and katie Holmes too, because I need to have the website presentable to a potential employer. As a sort of portfolio site. And because of this, I will most likely be utilizing the old school approach to galleries, and just manually edit html whenever I need to add more pictures.

If anyone has any suggestions or criticism please feel free to post them. And just ignore the drupal weblog thing. blogging is a bit too odd for me.
