medieval 2 unpack help ^-^

wondering if you could help me out with a problem

I have managed to unpack medieval 2, but how do I unpack mods, actaully some of the folders are there but many are missing. For example "data/sounds/Voice/Human/Localized. Is this normal

any help would be appreciated

Mods are breed of their onw and come three ways depending on the modder.
The ones with their own installer come with the .exe extension.
Some use the ols .zip format and Windows will unpack it anymore.
Many anymore including use .rar of which is from www.rarlabs.com and called winrar. I cover about any compression algorithm out there right now and they do have a free copy.

Whatever is in there is all they modded. Anything else including sounds, the mods for the most part uses vanilla's.
