I wasn't able to get a screen, but in my HE campaign Elrond got the One Ring Retinue... somewhat odd. I apologize if this has been brought up before.

There is a chance for every general to find the ring when he is in one of the Misty Mountain's regions, it is possible that Elrond will find it.

just make sure you got the max retinues possible with getting the ring and gollum never appears.

Any general can get the ring provided the conditions above are met.
