    Default "Cannot create program"

I was editing the Stainless Steel export_unit.txt file, but every time I make a change I return with the following error message "cannot create program (file path to export_unit.txt or whatever it's called), check file path" and nothing ends up getting changed. Does anybody have a work-around for this?

The file is write protected. Right click, choose properties and remove the tick mark on the read only box. Try again.

    Make a copy first!

I tried that actually. The only reason I can think of for these problems is that I had the SEGA folder be the folder the game itself, becuase very tine I installed the game to M2TW folder I would have sound problems. It could be this path change that screwed things up.

If you are using Vista, check this forum on how to set the modding up\find your files.

My suggestion since I started gaming: install your games into a custom folder, that way you avoid a lot of hassle (especially with Vista). Personally I use C:\Games (C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\empire total war)
