    Default Best Popup blocker

My Popup blockers don't block every popup. And sometimes(like downloading things) blocks internet windows that I do want. So does anyone have really good popup blockers? Thank you.

    Things you should do:

1.Get rid of spywares from your pc. Even if you don't think you have any, check anyway. I thought i have the cleanest PC of the world and after running spybot search and destroy and Adware, they found 31 spywares activating each time i browse the web.

    2. Well for second, get the Spybot and Ad-Aware from Symantec and use both, because whatever spyware one won't notice, the other will.

    3. Stop using Microsoft Explorer. I'm serious. It sucks and it is nothing but a spyware magnet. I have been using FireFox for 2years now and this is the best browser out there, hands down. It has so much more functions that IE is stone-age compare to it. It will block all the crap also, it won't let you have pop ups (unless you enable them) It might not have all the plugins that some websites require, but if you reeeeally want to see some stuff that it cannot show, just use IE for that, and use Firefox for everything else. As you will learn firefox, you will not be able to go back to IE, trust me.

    4. Get a anti-virus program. AVG free edition easily competes with any of the major virus programs. I had Norton, and at the same time i had trojan viruses. After uninstalling norton (and cancelling the over-expensive service)and installing AVG, it found viruses that Norton never detected. You can also buy AVG Professional for 34 bucks, it's a bargain, compare to other virus programs and it is a damn good virus program.

I use Adaware and Firefox with the best results so far. Email, I use Thunderbird. How about a good firewall? Norton's is too expensive and can't finetune it enough. Too Microsoft friendly. Whenever it upgrades itself, all my settings for what I want permitted and blocked, and I have to do it all over, again of which I think is wrong.

I use Opera for the sole reason that you can set an option of "open requested popups only" which will only load popups you click on. the trade off is that you have to pay for it or deal with the ad bar in the browser itself. plus activeX doent work at all.
