Hello everyone!
I've been working on a template for the line infantry texture. The file is a psd so you should be able to open it with gimp and photoshop. On this template I have selected various part of the uniform ( coat, lapel, pants, etc...) and i copied them on a different layer. You can then easily make a new infantry texture in about 5 min. Once all the change are done, merge all the layers and save it as a dds file and rename it like it should be ( ex: euro_line_infantry_france) ( you need the dds plugin of course...) ( compression: DXT5, generate mipmap checked) and you should have a brand new infantry texture!
Of course this is only a simple tool and it could be refined but is perfect for mass production! Since I found that tool very useful, I tough i could help some of you.
I hope you like...
