Default Karen Armstrong - A charter for compassion.

I recently read her book "a History of God" and I was very impressed. I am just starting to read her biography on Mohamed.

Here is an interesting talk, by her:

What do you think? A hope for the future of man's spirituality? Or politically correct drivel?

It seems good, but long. I hope its worth it.

    Drivel through and through.
'If there is an ultimate meaning to existence, as I believe is the case, the answer is to be found within nature, not beyond it. The universe might indeed be a fix, but if so, it has fixed itself.' - Paul Davies, the guy that religious apologists always take out of context.

Her head is shaped like a troll, she has buckteeth and she lisps like a snake. Turned it off after 60 seconds.
I have approximate answers and possible beliefs, and different degrees of certainty about different things, but I’m not absolutely sure of anything, and many things I don’t know anything about. But I don’t have to know an answer. I don’t feel frightened by not knowing.

I cannot speak about the book but I honestly found the lecture quite boring that didn't actually bring anything new to the table. The same old story over and over again; how religions should be but clearly aren't.
