Somehow I missed saruman while reading throught it.
Lurtz, the most skilled Uruk-Hai Aragorn got to fight with in the first movie.
Gothmog, you see him pretty much in Return of the king, if you watch extended. I like his style
We'll the Balrog isn't really a character with a personality.![]()
*Jedi mind trick* You do have a favorite cgaracters!
I knew who they are I just forgot about them. IDK some people would prob vote Belrog, it was awesome. Now vote Saruman/Sauron and go eat a snowcown or something.
While Grothmog's style was good Gimli, Aragorn made him their.

If it was a "least favourite character" poll then that would be a tough choice. There's a lot I don't like about many of them.
In terms of "most accurate portrayal" I vote Elrond. Probably because he wasn't in it long enough to do something out of character. Except ride to Dunharrow to deliver Aragorn his sword (aarrgh!).
He's the only Elf who looked remotely Elven and had that whole incredibly-old-and-wise-but-don't-need-to-show-it thing going. Although physically he should have a bigger build.
Gandalf was good too. But he lost votes for hitting Denethor in the face with his staff.
He's called "Merry" ot "Marry"
Anyway I can't really decide, they are all great. I think I'll vote for Saruman because Christopher Lee is just awesome.
if i have to...King Theoden.
i like him be cause he doesn“t have that aura of superman that most other characters have (specially Legolas and Aragorn). he looks like a simple man doing everything he can to save his people. oh, and the speech at Pelenor and the charge of the rohirrim completly owned the third movie!
Yeah king theoden is the more epic character of the movie, the charge against the uruk in the helm's deep and against the orcs to minas tirith are absolutely incredible but my favourite character stay Saruman because i like christopher lee and i like to see a generic good old wize wizard become evil and mad of power. yes he represents the industrialisation that i don't like(i live in mountain in the middle of nature) but the character is still very intersting and deep.
i chose boromir, because his character seemed really human. his fall from grace really hammered home how the ring can corrupt the best of intentions and drive ppl mad. (also, if you watch the extended editions of the films there are some really great scenes that flesh out his character)
alternatively i would have voted king theoden, elrond, faramir or saruman because the strengths and weaknesses of their characters are so believable in comparison to the soulless mr perfect of aragorn
