Default Abortions - Yes or No?

This thread I have opened because this is a discussion I want to make, and because the last (Trolling) thread was closed, with a lot of justifications, by our good ol' Justinian, I want to hear your opinions!
    Yes or No?

Please, explain each statement even if you picked in the poll.
(If this poll is biased in your eyes, TELL ME! I will remove it! Also, I will ask Justinian to keep a close eye on this thread, so behave and stay on topic!)

    Whatever she wants.
I have approximate answers and possible beliefs, and different degrees of certainty about different things, but I’m not absolutely sure of anything, and many things I don’t know anything about. But I don’t have to know an answer. I don’t feel frightened by not knowing.

Yes, we do far worse things to humans than kill them before birth.

Yes. Also because people do it anyway, so it's better they at least get it done in proper medical institutions by properly trained doctors to minimise the risks and complications to the mother - the alternative after all being back-alley quacks and infanticide...

Well best to avoid them if you can. Better education on contraception should be omplemented and if that fails the adoption system should be considered first.

The pro-lifers are free to adopt them...

All the way, if the baby is disabled, the mother was raped, or if giving birth would be a threat to the mothers health/life.

For everything else (accident, single mom, to costly to raise a child, already got 11 kids etc.) 22nd week

At whatever point of pregnancy the mother desires.

Little point in trying to ban them entirely because women will just have them done illegally anyway and put their lives at risk by doing so. It being their body they should have some say in the matter.

I have this thought in my head screaming that it ain't right not to give someone the chance to live.

I choose 1st trimester. In one aspect it's the women's body and thus her domain. One another view it is the couple's concern.

Morally taking a life is wrong. Abortion is the taking of a life. Thus...wrong...

that's why the state should make abortion legal and put everything in place so that the abortion can be done rapidly instead of making them wait weeks and weeks

that's right after all, only failures fail to raise children properly, better give them a chance to abort

I'm undecided. There's risk either way. If you're wrong and the fetus is a person then you've let someone be killed. If you're wrong and the fetus isn't a person, you've forced a woman to make a huge change in her life and drastically restrict her options for nothing.

yes up to the 2nd... It just seems unreasonable to not allow it at all, and if you're going to allow it, it seems to me that it should be allowed that far along but after that, it's a person whose life can't be ended without it being murder. By then the woman will have had enough time to make a decision.

Fetus is not a person, just like a cell of the human body isn't a human.
