I just watched it again and am scratching my head wondering how an amateur did this. The music is perfectly coordinated with the action. Each swell of the music coincides with a volley or charge. And then the dramatic use of black-and-white near the end, with the tragic end again perfectly in line with the music. Grand!

The latest one in my opinion. I would add a border if I were you though.

The first one seems like you sharpened it up a bit too much (perhaps not), and I also feel that the text should be a different colour, it is hard to tell which one though. If you want to keep it green, go with darker green, not too dark though, add a stroke of a colour that makes the text pop out. The grass makes it hard to choose.
If you do not mind other colours I would actually say white with black stroke on it, or the other way around (black with white around). Still it is hard to tell, just experiment with it and see what you like the best, as long as you like it yourself it is good.

But that was just my opinion.
