Knights of honour install problem

when I try to install knights of honour I get this

Set-up has experienced an error

Please do the following-
Close any open progams (done)
Empty temporary folder (where is the temporary folder)
Check internet connection ?

I'm not sure if anyone is familiar with KoH here, I'm not. But your temporary folder would either be:

a) in the Knights of Honor folder on your hard drive

or

b) temporary internet files? Go to C/Documents and Settings/(your name)/Local settings (you need to have see hidden files and folders enabled.) There should be two folders: Temp and Temporary Internet Files. You probably need to delete something in one of them, but I don't know what.

I'm not familiar w/ KoH, but your temp folder is C:\WINDOWS\Temp. Just highlight it from this thread and paste into the address bar. It'll take you right to it.(If you're running Windows)

OK Zuwxiv I've found the temp and temporary Internet folder in C/documents and settings But does anyone have any ideas on what I should delete. Pent uP Rage I deleted everything From C:\WINDOWS\Temp and it didn't work.

I've also had this problem with trying to install the Legion and COW Demo aswell.

Does it giveyou an error code? Or just this:

Set-up has experienced an error

Just that error message every time even when I run setup from the root directory.

At the bottom of the of the error message it has the error code -6005

hmmmmm....If you had an error ID or source code I could probably tell you exactly what's wrong. Seems theres a piece of software(on your network?) that amy be conflicting. What Anti-Virus/Spyware programs you run?

Mircosoft anit-spyware, AVG Anti-Virus and ad-aware. I'll run an Ad-aware scan now.
