blue screen/insert correct disc installation problems

so for the past week or so I've been trying to install M2TW on my computer again after a year or so of not playing it. Every time I try, just when it's about to finish I get the dreaded blue screen!
Then for the 5th time today I tried to install it again and it finished. But right when i clicked the "finished" button it crashed and gave me the blue screen saying: IRQL_Not_or_Less_Equal.
this is the first time i had that message on the blue screen. all the other times from before were other random messages. I really have no idea what's happening here any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
