    Default CTD All the time.

Okay, so I installed RTW and BI. Then I installed RS. I had RTW installed previously and had a few save games on it.

Now, whenever in RS I try to do an imperial campaign, it says something like "Choose an item from the list" So, I thought it meant the prologue. Whenever I tried that, the game CTD. Same with custom, historical, and quick battles.

As of now, I am uninstalling all of RTW and am going to reinstall everything. Was the problem caused by my previous saves or by not doing the prologue in vanilla first?

Secondly, I couldn't turn off the auto save. I have a windows(not sure which one) and it says the pathing or naming of the file may not be correct. So it won't let me save the changes.

First of all, you installed it in the wrong place.....the only way you get that error is mod installed in wrong directory.

Secondly, sounds like you have Vista, and installed RTW in the Program Files directory. Vista does not like anything messing with files in that folder.

    Thanks, but two little questions.
Where should I install the mod?
And does it matter if I can't disable to autosave?

First, for your RTW directory in which you will install RS, follow the instruction

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=270036

Then, it would be better if you disable auto-save :
    Go to the preference.txt
There should a line like auto_save : TRUE
    Change this to FALSE
Save. If you have a problem, save it in your documents, then paste it over the old one.
Also, make a back up, you never know what may happen.
