    Default How to install mod withought changing original files?

    How can u install a mod withought changing the orginal files? I have heard not to install the game in program files and instal it somewhere else. Then make a folder for mods and install but i dont understand. Anyone can clarify the whole process for me?

    Copy your RTW folder so you have two then install RS onto 1. It's the only simple way.

    Just find the Rome Total War folder in Program Files and copy it. Then paste it to same program files folder. Then you should have two Rome Total War folders. Now rename other to whatever you like (Roma surrectum 1.5 for example) and then install mod to it. That is they way I do it.
