Default [FAILED 06/28/09] [Citizen] Tiberius Tosi (Patron: Scorch)

    Client: Tiberius Tosi
    Dear citizens of TWCenter,

When I first came to this site, it was in late 2007 when I discovered the mod Rome Total Realism. Soon after joining, I gradually moved towards the Discussion and Debate threads, although I did pop in to the RTR forums occasionally giving advice to those unfamiliar with the game. In the D&D subforum, I have been particularly active in the Vestigia Vetustatis explaining, helping, and debating with others. Most of my activity on the site is in the VV. I have done a fair amount in helping and participating in the community, but I hope to do much more and becoming a citizen would be an honor and a privilege.

Since I am a believer that my actions speak louder than any more words I could write, and since I do not wish to bore you, here are some of my personal favorite debates, explanations, and advice in the D&D:

Hey guys? What's up? How've you all been? Hugs and kisses all around.

So I first ran into Tiberius Tosi (or TT as I like to call him; we're tight man) in the VV the other day, where I was extremely impressed by one of his posts. This one, precisely. It was very well thought out, articulate, well informed and all those great things. Looking back through his history, these kinds of posts are definitely the norm, rather than the exception. Examples here, here and here and there are plenty more with a glance through his posting history.

All in all, an articulate, well-mannered and well-informed individual who has posted at a high quality. He meets all requirements as well, so I think we're set fellas.

Most of the activity is recent. The fact that his interest is VV is a plus by me. Nothing exceptional, but nothing that I found was foolish or unwarranted either.

I am not so certain he should be hanging his hat on helping the community though. It seems a bit thin in that respect. I think that was thrown in as a suggestion to groom the resume.

I have not found a Script-worthy article amongst the VV posts yet. That would make the application much easier to merit a yes vote.

    I am leaning towards yes...

Hmmm, his posts look good, but I don't know if it is substantial enough to warrant him a Citizenship. I am leaning towards a no, but I will see what some other councillor say.

    @Rome -- You voted yes.

Perhaps a comment on what you find to convince me. Convert my leaning into a vote.

Why is there so little comment regarding this prospective citizen?

I had a look at all the posts which he and his patron linked to and also read through his posting history. While he makes some good points I don't consider him ready for Citizenship just yet. Most of his posts are rather average and I haven't seen anything exceptional.

I think he should try to post in debates more frequently instead of making one statement and then disappearing. He could also take part in a few debates in Garb's Fight Club in order to improve his debating skills further. I don't think that he is ready yet but I believe that he will have good chances in the future.

I decided to vote no. I don't think his contributions have yet been quite enough to become a citizen. If he continues with his current work though, and improves on his posts, then I'll be giving him a yes next time.

I have decided to vote yes. In the event that the polling fails to confrm, I would suggest that the applicant continue with what he is doing and return with a thicker portfolio.

He posts sensibly and when in error, he can adjust his opinions to the facts. Scorch's own reference to his artificial insemination post is an example of that if you follow the thread a few more posts.

Just having looked at the posts provided, I will examine others in the next day or so, I'm not seeing anything that stands out as exceptional. Unless I find something more in other posts I'm going to be voting no.

It was close but i actual found his post very informative and him haveing a good atitude seems to help. I agree he should seek to debate more but I think he will continue to grow and be a fine addition to the Curia..........

The posts are good there is certainly nothing wrong with them but I am not seeing that certain spark or at least not enough of one to warrent citizenship at this stage. However I suspect he will be an easy yes some time soon in the future but for now it has to be a no from me.

i'm voting Yes. Its a close call and a much harder decision than most applicants present, but on the balance i'm saying yes.

This member doesn't seem to go in for the long rambling posts of the intellectual academic, but he does address his points clearly and concisely, they're well made and usually accurate. He engages in debate, responds to the points made and does everything expected of him. I might be doing him a disservice to refer to him as not the brightest diamond in the sack, but a diamond nontheless. He certainly stands above many other so called "debators"

I voted no, I just don't think I saw enough. Nothing really stood out here, but he's a good member and will make a good citizen in the future with a little bit more under his belt.
