    Try to DLV_60 = 001DLV_60.exe + 002DLV_60.exe

    - Install kingdoms patch 1.5 !!!!!

    - Delete all old DLV's

    - Download both parts of DLV_60: 001, 002,.....only the first part 001 has the necessary .exe file for unifying the parts

    - Unify both parts 001, 002 into DLV_60.exe by clicking on Part 001 (and decide where to store it) Don't click on part 002 !!!!!!!!!
because of the filesize it will take severall minutes before you can see any reaction.. patience

    - Then extract the unified DLV_60.exe now into the mods folder similar to other mods:
because of the filesize it will take severall minutes before you can see any reaction.. patience

    - Execute the unified file DLV_60.exe and enter the correct path for the installation
Example for english people: C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods
(For Germans change it to: C:\Programme\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods !!!!)

    - Decide on the last installation page if you want a non_english sound installation

    - Mod is installed under C:\Programme\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\DLV_ext
Start over, if you do it any other way.
Can you copy this msg, and tell me exactly where it goes greek?

    It is actually quite simple:

    1. Download both part 1 & part 2 into 1 folder. (DO NOT TOUCH THEM).
    2. When both part 1 & part 2 is in the same folder(un-touched), ONLY press part 1.
    3. Automaticly. They will unite into 1 single file. Now THIS file is the normal installation you find every else.

Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga
I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

I can't get the files to unite, It says "This Self-Uniting program was not designed to work with the set this first piece file belongs to. Please use GUnite instead available at..."
I tried using GUnite and got the same message.
    What have I done wrong?

Edit: Scratch that, for some reason the download stopped at 1/10th of the way done and didn't tell me

So you are saying that you made it work? Goood, but don't over use it-

    @crucify,

-Do you have both parts 1 and 2 in the same folder?

-Do you have the complete part 1 (should be about 716 MB)?

Sorry to ask, I just want to be thorough so I can help properly, as I've never had that problem.

    TQ

allright, well when a couple of years ago on my old computer, when i installed DLV, all i had to do was dowload a zip. extract it. double-click the installer and done.

so now i got a new computer (been playing Empire & Napoleon) so i decided to install m2tw and kingdoms to see how far along DLV has come, as i remember it being my favorite m2 mod. so i downloaded what i guess is DLV 6.0 Pt.'s 1 & 2 and 6.2 patch into a folder. when i go in the folder, instead of a compressed zip i see these?

when i click on Pt. 1, it asks me to choose a program to open this with?

i thought you click on pt. 1, it's supposed to combine the 2 parts?

Hi crucify_ego, it looks like your browser messed up renaming them once they had downloaded.

Try renaming them with a '.exe' at the end. So '001DLV_60' becomes '001DLV_60.exe', and so on.

If that doesn't work then I suggest you download another browser and download them again.

Out of interest, was it Internet Explorer you were using? Had a couple of people with a similar problem.
