Olog-hai pulverizing Mumakils.

I do understand the lore that Mordor in general were strong and trolls are walking Abrams, but seeing Olog-hai completely butchering a Mumakil doesn't make sense.

Not to mention to obscene cost difference (1500 vs 5200), the trolls take zero losses while hammering down the poor oliphaunts.

Considering that they both fulfill similar roles in battle (frontline crash&thrash), I find it difficult to understand why trolls that are about 1/3rd the price can be more effective and pretty much better at everything else than the mumakil.

However, I don't believe mumakils are underpowered. Not sure how numbers in EDU should be like, but I think it's appearant that for their price trolls are extremely overperforming their expected standards.

In the Movie's one Spearman was enough to take down one mumakil, remember Eomér at the Pelenor Fields

lol yeah that was ..... odd :S I watched the appendices for ROTK a few days ago and they talk about trying to find ways of bringing down a mumak as being a pain in the ass

But yeah on topic, te mumaks should whoop the trolls if only because of the size diffrence and the fact that you have to be clever to take down a mumak. Trolls are far too overpowered IMO and their defensive skill should be seriously gimped seen as well they arnt the most skillfull creatures are they?

I think they should in any case re-skin the mumakil to look more like AT-AT, probably even add a pair of laser cannons to their head...

Mumaks one on one suck, but I find them able to utterly destroy enemy armies for my infantry to rush and pick the bones. However if the enemy has any javelins is by-by mumakils.

Mumakils should own trolls in a sense that the elephants would be charging them, they're a lot huger, with big pointy tusks, trolls should be able to kill them in prolonged melee just like any other unit and probably be better at it then other units, but they should get owned by the charge.

The real overpowered units are neither Olog-hai, or Mumakils. Instead it's the Berserkers of Isengard. They cost 900 and can take down a unit of Olag-hai in a one vs one. Staggering, isn't it?

You can kill Berserkers with arrows or melee. Try the same with olog hai...
Playing as Rohan I never have problems against Isenhart Berserkers.. It's the Olog Hai that makes me ragequit the game and start a new campaign later...
