Hey I unpacked Britannia to access its export_desc_unit for use in writing my guide but it seems the file inside is the m2rtw version since it has none of the kingdoms units. where is the actual desc unit files for the kingdoms campaigns? Thanks.

I used the top line here to unpack Britannia but I cant find the export_desc_unit file the only one in there has m2tw units. could somebody possible take two minutes out of their apparently too busy lives to show me where the file is?

I really wish I knew how to help, but I can't.
In addition, this might be considered piracy or against the ToS... I don't know, but I'd rather not find out.

I used this to unpack into a folder called backup.
unpacker.exe --source=..\..\mods\british_isles\packs\*.pack --destination=..\..\backup --verbosity=1 --base_pack_path=mods/british_isles/data/
It seemed to unpack but i cant find the folder anywhere. A windows search for backup didn't find it. Cant find files that the unpacker mentions too and i copy and pasted your command line right into cmd
EDIT tried again this time i found it and it has the proper units in it. Not sure what the difference was but it works thank you!![]()

If the unpacker worked, it should be inside your M2TW directory\mods\britannia\data
Unless "britannia" is called "british_isles", as I recall it.
Edit: Wait, in the thread you linked to, the poster seems to be saying that the top line doesn't unpack everything. Maybe that's what's causing the problem?

In Soviet Russia you want Uncle Sam.
Moved to Kingdoms Q & A. I hope you can resolve the problem, mate
And no, he was not asking for the file, merely where it was. Thus it is not piracy.
This should work.
unpacker.exe --source=..\..\mods\americas\packs\*.pack --destination=..\..\backup --verbosity=1 --base_pack_path=mods/americas/data/
In the unpacker folder you should have 4 files
unpack_brittania.bat
unpack_americas.bat
unpack_teutonic.bat
unpack_crusades.bat
Just run the one you need...
