Which historical epic do you think is the best?
I can think of a few. Braveheart, Gladiator, Ben-Hur, eerrr can't remember the rest.
My vote goes to Braveheart, but I prefer the setting and drama of Gladiator.

For me Gladiator, but it doesn't really deal that much with history does it?
I'd love if they made a good movie abot the 18th century, like on Wellington or Napoleon or something.

The Rome series was probably awesome, although star wars (long time ago in a galaxy far far away) it could be accurate.
I thought troy was pretty good, why do people hate it so much?

As a true epic (unlike the ones listed in this thread), the Soviet version of War and Peace. For something shorter, I'm quite fond of Barry Lyndon.
