    Default Blasted Villages!

    Im working on a mod im making for the 6.2 compilation patch of SS, and am having trouble.

    I edited the descr_strat file to remove the kingdom of jerusalem, and moved all their settlements to the rebels and created new garrisons for them. however when i load up the game i get all rebel provinces turning up as villages with no buildings or garrisons, i know i have an error somewhere in the file but am not sure where since im new to modding at this level.

    That can't be the whole descr_strat. No playable faction in the lower part, no rebel faction entry. Impossible to see where the mistake is when the file above is one big mistake.
    Compress the complete file (ZIP, RAR, 7z) and attach it here.

    no its not the whole file, its actually just the parts i edited.

    anyway i figured out the problem myself, turns out something was capitalized that shouldnt have been. ill come back here if i have any more problems, thanks

    now im having a new problem.

    im having no trouble now switching settlements to other factions, but whenever i start a campaign to check my progress, every faction has a huge amount of negative money. i havnt altered starting money or kings purse, so it might be something else. anyone let me know if you have heard of this problem before, or i can post my entire descr_strat if needed

    That will more likely be something in the campaign_script. My suggestion is to use a blank script to avoid problems like that.
    Back up your current script and use the one in the attachment, it has only got the radar restriction. That way you can check if your descr_strat is OK (restriction will go) and avoid pitfalls through the script.

    i recently figured out that problem as well, turns out it was a base problem with the mod i was working with that was already there. got the fix for it and everything is working smoothly now. Thanks!
